Coleen Rivas has over 25 years of experience in the VET sector, including time as an RTO owner and manager. Now a dedicated VET consultant, she specialises in three core areas: bespoke learning and assessment design, professional development, and RTO compliance.
Coleen focuses on creating custom resources for niche markets or for RTOs requiring materials specifically tailored to their learners, industry, or delivery needs. She also delivers targeted professional development for trainers and assessors, translating complex requirements into actionable skills. Additionally, Coleen supports RTOs with the Standards for RTOs 2025 through coaching, mentoring, and developing quality systems. Whether conducting pre-use reviews or internal audits, her approach is collaborative and grounded in reality, ensuring quality competency assessment that works effectively for both staff and learners..
